This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 12, 2009:
I don't know what enlightenment is. I don't know if I have ever attained enlightenment. If I did, it probably passed. I remember reading that once enlightenment is attained, it also passes. It is probably like a cycle. Enlightenment is finding your true self. I think a Boddhisattva or an "enlightened one" is someone on a journey of enlightenment, who is constantly being enlightened, rather than attaining a "destination" of enlightenment.

Help

In everyday life, every one experiences enlightenment on a daily basis. We just don't stop to tag it as such. Every learning task, every sunrise, every surprise is something added to the sum of the soul, value added, and at the end of The Long Day, the whole is much greater than the sum of it's parts. I guess, how would I know? I haven't been totaled yet either.
